• Liquid-cooled, 645cc, V-twin engine delivers a strong rush of high-rpm power that benefits any riding mission. The engine’s 90-degree crankshaft and ignition timing provide perfect primary balance for superb traction at all speeds while delivering a pleasant, rumbling exhaust note.

Electrical Features

• LCD readouts include an odometer, dual tripmeter, traction control modes, gear position, coolant and ambient air temperature, fuel consumption, fuel gauge, and a clock. Switching between readings can be done with the left handlebar switch.
• The V-Strom 650 is equipped with Suzuki’s Advanced Traction Control System*, which lets the rider control the throttle with more confidence in various riding conditions. It continuously monitors front and rear wheel speeds, throttle opening, engine speed, and the selected transmission gear to adjust engine output if wheel spin is detected.
• Suzuki’s Low RPM Assist feature seamlessly adjusts engine speed during takeoff and low-speed riding to smooth the power delivery. It also helps reduce the possibility of the rider stalling the motorcycle.
